Customer terms

The following terms and conditions apply to all use of the BeanClub application (“BeanClub App” or “Application”). Please read these terms carefully before using BeanClub App to order and pay for your drinks, etc. The use of the application is conditional upon you declaring that you have read and understood these terms.

1.1BeanClub ApS (“BeanClub ApS” or “Company”) is a company registered in Denmark.

1.2 BeanClub is an application that makes it easy for guests at Cafés to order and pay for drinks, etc.

1.3 When you order goods through the BeanClub App, you acknowledge that you are bound by these terms of this Agreement. BeanClub ApS can change these from time to time. You will be bound by the terms that apply at the time of purchase.

2.1 Ordering is done by selecting the relevant products from the menu that apply to that cafe in the BeanClub App and put them in the shopping cart by tapping the product. When you have finished adding products to the basket in the Application, submit your order by activating the slider “Slide to place order” under the “Cart” basket. Please note that it is important that you check your order before you finally approve it.

2.2 If you choose not to proceed with the order before you have activated the slider “Slide to place order”, simply discontinue the purchase by leaving the cafe’s menu card in the Application. You can delete or add products by sliding the product bar to the left.

2.3 Place your order using the menu on your phone. You can do this in advance and your order will be waiting for you when you arrive. Simply show your receipt at the counter.

2.4 In a case where your order is not authorised, the cafe is not legally bound to deliver.

2.5 Check the details of your order. When you use the slider it is not possible to undo the purchase and beans will automatically be deducted from your account.

3.1Prices are shown in beans as they appear in the menus in the application and calculated from the café list price including VAT. The price of a bean is DKK 1.00. (£1 in the UK)

3.2 BeanClub shows products from a wide range of cafes, and there are a large number of menus and data in the application. It is therefore possible that some menus at cafes may have incorrect prices. BeanClub ApS is not obliged to compensate you in these instances or to act to resolve any differences that arise between the cafe owner and the user.

3.3 If you have a complaint about the quality of the drinks or services provided by the BeanClub App cafés, you must complain directly to the place of delivery immediately after serving. BeanClub ApS can not make repayments on behalf of the cafes and is not responsible for any repayments that you may have applied for. All complaints must first be submitted to the café, and the café’s own appeal procedures must be followed before BeanClub ApS can respond to a complaint.

3.4 (Danish law) According to an exception in the Consumer Agreement Act, the area of withdrawal, paragraph 17 2 and paragraph 9 2 – Is the purchase of food and other goods for household consumption, which is to be delivered directly to the consumer, NOT covered by the right of withdrawal.

3.5 Payments for products can be made with the following payment cards: VISA / Dankort, VISA and MarsterCard. Fixed fee per Transaction DKK 1.80.

3.6 Please note that from time to time there may be delays in payments and transactions. In special cases, it may take up to 60 days before the amount is deducted from your account.

3.7 To ensure a quick and easy use of the BeanClub application, you only need to enter your credit card information. Upon entering your credit card details for the first time, you will be able to accept that the information is securely stored with an external PCI certified payment gateway.

If you choose to save your credit card information, you will be prompted for each transaction to enter the CVC code in order to make orders.
You can delete your card information at any time. It will then not be possible to make orders without re-entering credit card details.

3.8 BeanClub will do its best to ensure that your ordered products are available immediately after ordering. However, BeanClub can not guarantee that there will be no delays in serving. Please refer complaints of this nature to the cafe owner.

3.9You can buy/save for DKK 1,500.00 (1500 “Beans”) in the BeanClub Application.

4.1 Although BeanClub tries to ensure that the application is available around the clock, BeanClub is not responsible if the application is unavailable for a given period.

4.2 Access to the application can be suspended temporarily and without notice. Paid orders will however always be delivered or refunded to the card from which the money was withdrawn.

4.3 All information sent to and from the BeanClub App and its associated servers is secured via an encrypted HTTPS line. This protects against man-in-the-middle attacks, interception, manipulation and / or falsification of the content of the communication.
All payment card information is processed at a PCI Certified Payment Gateway. BeanClub App, Company’s servers, BeanClub ApS employees and the mobile phone running the application have at no time the relevant credit card information.
The phone’s access to user data on the server (order history, email, etc.) is protected by a login.
In addition, orders can not be made without entering the CVC code mentioned in section 3.7 (entered by the user, for each purchase of beans in the BeanClub application).

The main purpose of collecting personal data is to offer you a safe, efficient and personalized experience, when using BeanClub.

5.4 If you would like to delete your personal data of your user account in accordance to GDPR please send a mail to mail@beanclub.app
